Health & Fitness Data (Health Connect) To provide our core feature, the "Resilience Score," Mindful Daily requests read access to specific health data via Android Health Connect. We request access to the following data types: Active Calories Burned: To analyze physical energy expenditure. Steps: To monitor daily activity levels. Sleep: To analyze rest quality and duration. Heart Rate: To establish physiological baselines. B. Sensor Data (Camera & Flash) Our "Coherence Training" feature uses your device's camera and flash to measure Heart Rate Variability (HRV). How it works: The app detects blood flow changes in your fingertip in real-time. Privacy Guarantee: We do not record, store, or transmit images or video footage of your finger. The camera feed is processed locally on your device to extract mathematical data (BPM and HRV scores) and is discarded immediately. Only the numerical score is saved. C. User-Generated Content Journals: Text and voice entries you create in the "Journal" tab are stored securely. Detox Posts: Content shared in the "The Void/Detox" community feed is posted anonymously but linked to your internal User ID for moderation purposes. D. Personal Information When you sign in via Google, we collect basic profile information (Email, Display Name, Profile Picture) for authentication and account recovery purposes. 3. How We Use Your Information To Calculate Wellness Metrics: Health Connect data is processed by our algorithms to generate your daily "Resilience Score" and provide personalized wellness insights. AI Analysis: We use Google Vertex AI (Gemini) to process your journal text and detox posts for sentiment analysis, emotional summarization, and safety moderation. App Functionality: To track streaks, save preferences, and manage subscriptions. Advertising: To display banner and interstitial advertisements via Google AdMob. 4. Health Connect Limited Use Disclosure (Crucial) Our use of information received from Health Connect will adhere to the Health Connect Permissions Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. No Sales: We do not sell Health Connect data to third parties, advertising platforms, or data brokers. No Advertising: We do not use Health Connect data for serving advertisements. Purpose: Data accessed via Health Connect is used strictly to provide user-facing health and wellness features (specifically the Resilience Score and insights). 5. Third-Party Services & Data Sharing We share data with the following trusted third-party service providers to operate the app: Google Firebase: For secure database storage (Firestore), authentication, and cloud functions. Google AdMob: To display advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers (Advertising ID) to serve personalized ads.
